Behind Yuva Studio

Roya is the founder and lead designer of Yuva Studio. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minor in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago. After six years in the environmental health and sustainability space, Roya has gained expertise in healthy housing and combined with her background in psychology, health and wellbeing is at the center of Roya’s work.

From a young age, Roya was known to rearrange her bedroom by herself, dragging her bed frame and dresser across the room because she was constantly looking for new ways to refresh her space. She wanted to ensure that no day went by when she didn’t feel her best in her surroundings.

Roya firmly believes that our environment and health are intertwined and is passionate about helping her clients create spaces that reflect this ethos. From material and color selections to space planning, she incorporates elements inspired by nature to create spaces that are timeless, organic, and unique.

She currently resides in Lake Forest, Illinois with her husband and their dog, Hazel.
